Residency Research Tracks

For medical students interested in a career as an academic anesthesiologist, an anesthesiology residency program that provides a specific research track may be a good option. While the details of individual programs vary, most offer 6-9 months of research time during residency followed by a 1-2 year commitment to research at that institution after graduation.
